Teaching is the noblest profession: teachers are the ones who help to educate the future generation.
Being married into a family of educationists ignited in me the flame to take up this profession with great sincerity. From a very young age, I was familiarized with the challenges and achievements in the education sector. It gives me immense satisfaction to be able to influence and impact the life of children. Teachers are nation builders, value educators, career counsellors paving foundation for the future.

A person with qualities of fearlessness, perseverance, hard-work and empathy defines a true leader. True knowledge is the sole purpose of education. As a leader, I strongly believe that students' receptive power increases in a peaceful, positive environment. It is important to appreciate and encourage children to enhance their learning process.

'Where the mind is without fear' to quote Rabindranath Tagore perfectly expresses an ideal school environment. True learning happens when it is experiential- a fine blend of bookish knowledge and hands on experience. We need to nurture strong values and keep our rich cultural heritage intact in today's technology centric culture.

The school needs to encourage children to be more inquisitive as their anxious queries lead to innovation and creativity. New venues of innovation need to be promoted through digital technology. Technology gives freedom to explore and monitor the growth of the child. Life skills to handle various life situations should be an important aspect of learning.

Today, India faces serious problems of unemployment; to eradicate that we must put a lot of stress on Vocational
Education. Vocational skills training enhances job opportunities for the underprivileged youth. The government, as well as private sector should focus on providing skills to ensure personal and professional growth.

We have introduced ‘Foundation Education in Technology’ a subject that nurtures scientific temperament. From class first onwards students understand the working of various gadgets in our day to day life and find ways to utilize them better. We have media literacy wherein students create short documentary films, presentations via media to express their creative talent. Sports is an integral aspect of learning. The school provides infrastructure for sports like shooting, horse riding, boxing and gymnasium. We have integrated technology by providing smart boards in every classroom.

Schools are the bedrock foundation to create future citizens; hence have a big social responsibility to focus on right values and proper education. Government is the facilitator to provide the ways and means so government policies in sync with schools will hold a bright future for our children. The government works on the policies for the benefit of the youth and schools help to empower them with inclusive education.
